With the busy Christmas season behind us we are preparing for the "año nuevo." (new year)

As always, Christmas was a whirlwind of fun at the center. On top of our annual Shidler Christmas party, we hosted a variety of activities.

We invited our families to come make gingerbread houses together. In true "Mexican time" there were only 5 people here when it was time to start. Within fifteen minutes we were scrambling setting up tables as over 100 members of our community came together to spend time as a family.

We also shared a special evening recounting the birth of Christ during our annual candlelight service. Our teenagers volunteered their time at Mission Arlington in Texas for a few days before Christmas. We were so proud of them for their commitment to serve.

Now that new year has come we are looking forward to exciting things!

On February 7th, we will begin FaithFood- a time for you to come and learn about what happens at FaithWorks. Join us for lunch and bring a friend to get an inside look at what goes on at the center.

Big dreams for the year include opening our thrift store and possibly starting a food co-operative.

Please continue to pray with us about these dreams!
